My Story

It started with late nights, wide awake past 1 a.m., driven by an unnecessary urge to fall down rabbit holes.

Philosophy was just another rabbit hole, or so I thought. A passing obsession, six weeks at most. But six years later, I’m still falling. What does it mean to be morally good? To be free? To be human?  These questions live in me now, restless and relentless. I turn to philosophy for the questions that couldn’t be Googled, and poetry for the ones that can’t be answered at all.

What once felt like a useless obsession with words and meaning is now what makes me a powerful writer, a thoughtful storyteller, and a trusted coach.

Three years ago, I started These Subtle Conversations—a philosophy blog now read by thousands around the world and loved for its lyrical voice and depth. At its core, it was built as a space for people to slow down and think deeply. That same idea shapes The Admit Edit, where essays are meant to be real, reflective, and unforgettable.

Over time, friends and classmates began turning to me for help with their college essays. One conversation led to another, and soon I was guiding students through some of the most meaningful stories they would ever tell.

Today, I coach applicants to some of the world’s top schools—including NYU Stern, USC, UT Austin, UC Berkeley, Emory, UCLA, and more.

And beyond essay coaching, that same pursuit of meaning and impact drives everything I do:

  • Writing for The Ismaili Magazine on human stories

  • Publishing a poetry book

  • Creating cultural heritage tours for the Aga Khan Development Network

  • Teaching English to students in rural areas worldwide

  • Co-authoring research with university professors

Because good writing speaks, but great writing is felt.
